This will be my first time at Michigan’s largest train show. They advertise this as over 500 vendor tables! I will only be selling my Trac Brothers novels, some handcar toys (pencil sharpeners) , and couple of one-off train books, and a new item, thanks to this event – Kalamazoo Handcar fridge magnets!

Fandom Fest is a collaboratively run popular culture convention hosted by 8 libraries from Southwest Michigan.
Our free-entry event has vendors, Mini Hobby area, tabletop gaming, video game contest, and cosplay contest.
It invites people who would not otherwise be able to attend a con-type event to come together and celebrate their favorite aspects of popular culture.
I’ll be joined by fellow authors GS Scott and Loraine Hudson/Judith Wade.

The Farmington Author & Book Festival (FAB) is a collaboration between KickstART Farmington and the Farmington Community Library. The FAB festival will be held during Art on the Grand in downtown Farmington and will feature author readings, book signings, discussions, workshops, and more, along with a book marketplace offering publications by area authors and publishers.

I will be the Book Marketplace with many other authors.

This is the first of two events I have at the Charlotte Community Library in March.
At this event, I will be discussing the life and death of Walton Junction, the former rail town located north of Cadillac in Michigan’s scenic Lower Peninsula. This multimedia presentation will include photos from the late 1800s and from today, as well as stories from the people who called this “hell” of a town their home.
